The Lagos State Lands Bureau has been named the Best Government Agency at two seperate award ceremonies organised by the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers and City People Magazine in Lagos recently. During the award ceremonies, the Permanent Secretaty, Lands Bureau, Mr. Bode Agoro thanked the organisers for recognising the sterling perfomance the Bureau and attributed it to the recent reforms  that have culminated into improved performance as well as smooth delivery of services to members of the public.

The Lagos State Lands Bureau has commenced a review of its policies and proceses to facilitate unhindered and smooth access to members of the public and other stakeholders who transact business with the institution. Special Adviser on Urban Development, Mrs. Yetunde Onabule who spoke during a stakeholders engagement on ‘Ease of Doing Business in Lagos State’ said the review became necessary to remove bureaucratic bottlenecks that hindered prompt service delivery in the Lands Bureau.
