Chattel Realty’s HELLO Boosts Affordable Housing Delivery

Efforts toward addressing housing deficits and ensuring affordable housing delivery in Nigeria has received a boost with the launch of new housing model tagged HELLO in Lagos.

With a population now estimated to be more than 180 million people, it is believed that more than one million housing units yearly is required to reduce the current housing deficits of about 17 million to avert housing crisis by 2020.

This is not just dangerous but could indeed blossom into a catastrophe of
unimaginable dimension if adequate action is not taken to address the issue headlong.

But with the launch of HELLO, an acronym for Housing Empowerment and Land Lord Opportunity by Chattel Realty and Investment Company Limited, many Nigerians are expected to own houses without hassles.

Under the project, subscribers have the opportunities of spreading their payments in the four estates namely; Palms Villa Agbowa Phases 1 and 2 Ikorodu, Lekki Terrace at Sangotedo and Orange Court at Agbowa Ikorodu.

They also have a choice to provide the interiors of their homes at their pace, while do all the exterior works.

“With a payment of N660, 000 for a plot of 600square metres in the luxury Palms Villa Phase 2 or an initial amount of N55, 000 spread within two months you are on your way to becoming a landlord.“You can either choose to make a one off payment or you can pay in six or 12 months equal installments.

“After the initial payment, you can automatically qualify to win a 2 bedroom house in a raffle draw that will hold at designated locations, while other consolation prices to be won include generators, Table top gas cookers, electric cookers and Shoprite vouchers.

“ It is a win-win situation for Nigerians who will be participating in this project. As ide the fact that participants het amazing gifts, they also buy their dream property in an amazing location with no hassles”, she added.

Nollywood legend, Segun Arinze, who was the brand ambassador for the project said it is an opportunity for Nigerians to be homeowners despite the economic challenges.
